A Program for Men Serious about Addiction Recovery

The Rescue Mission believes that "change begins within." Men who are committed to overcoming drug and alcohol addiction can enroll in the Parker House Rehabilitation Program. The 25-bed facility offers a safe environment for men that are serious about their recovery from addictions. The six to nine month program helps those committed to making a change in their lives and overcoming their drug and alcohol addictions.

Residents participate in:

  • outpatient services at four local facilities
  • the Morris Learning Center where they work on educational goals including how to use computers and job skills training
  • weekly meetings with the chaplain
  • spiritual guidance through chapel services, in-house devotions and bible studies.

Five of the beds at Parker House are designated to the Residential Stabilization Program (RSP) through New York State Division of Parole. Here, clients work on individual stabilization plans which are designed to assist them as they "re-enter" the community after incarceration.

The Parker House Residential Center of the Rescue Mission of Utica is dedicated to meet the client's physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs during their stay with the Rescue Mission. Telephone: (315) 735-1645 x140
