Morris Learning Center

The Rescue Mission's Learning Center started in 1998 to assist residents in the Mission's long term programs to work on their academic and vocational needs. Since that time, the Center has become a community learning center to assist in literacy, GED preparation, computer literacy and vocational training.

Students work in a self-paced environment that uses a combination of computer and paperwork that reaches different learning styles and offers positive reinforcements to encourage further growth.

In addition to academic instruction, we also offer a comprehensive vocational program including:

  • how to look for work
  • resume preparation
  • interviewing techniques
  • salary negotiation

The Morris Learning Center is dedicated to meet the client's physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs while at the Rescue Mission of Utica. Telephone: (e315) 735-1645 x222
