“GOURMET GUYS TO THE RESCUE”

SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 30th!

Over 35 local business and community leaders who love to cook are coming to the aid of the homeless and less fortunate. On Sunday, October 30, Gourmet Guys to the Rescue will be serving up their specialties from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Hart's Hill Inn. Proceeds will benefit the Rescue Mission's community centers, and the homeless, residential and transitional housing services. Through its first twelve years, the Gourmet Guys event has raised over $165,000 to support the Rescue Mission.

Tickets for the event are $25 per person and are available at Hart's Hill Inn or by calling the Rescue Mission at 735-1645, x.100. Tickets will be available at the door.

First Niagara Bank and Hannaford Supermarkets are the event's Major Sponsors. Contributing sponsors include SOFCO, Adelphia Media Services, Barnes and Noble, Hotel Utica, Hart's Hill Inn, The Observer-Dispatch, Regent Broadcasting, T.C. Peters Printing, Adirondack Bank and WKTV NewsChannel 2.

Special recognition will be given to “Five Year Chefs” Bruce Brodsky, Joe Romanelli, Ron Thiele, and Ed Welsh. A panel of celebrity judges will be conferring awards again this year. All guests are welcome to participate in the “People’s Choice Ballot.”
